What you can submit

Create your content around the featured upcoming trends, and then click the ‘Submit your content’ button and fill in the submission form. Remember to include the trend name (listed under ‘This month’s trends’) in the relevant form field.

  • There’s no limit to the number of submissions that you can make—just make sure to submit using a new form for additional Pins.

  • Check back at the start of each month for the latest trends to try.

  • Publish content that aligns with the current trends.

How Pins are selected

Two key things that our editors look for among the submitted Pins: (1) visually compelling content and (2) attainable, realistic ideas.

Content that works (yes, please!)

  • High-quality images

  • Low-fi, ‘cluttered’ and spontaneous imagery

  • Aesthetic and inspirational collages (pro tip: enable collage remixing to let your audience easily build upon your design. It also helps to amplify your reach.)

  • Positive, happy and fun vibe

  • Prioritise unique, original images

  • Avoid stock or duplicate visuals across Pins

  • Attainable and realistic images that people can identify (think all shapes, sizes, shades)

  • Use keyword-rich titles and descriptions

  • Make your Pin actionable—add a link to your Pin to help bring your Pin to life, such as a recipe or a product link.


Content to avoid

  • Poor-quality UGC

  • Images with text and graphic overlays 

  • Heavily airbrushed, retouched and filtered images

  • Images with unrealistic settings and scenarios
