You're invited to participate in a series of challenges that will put into practice everything covered in the weekly webinars.

#EducatorChallenge1 | 10/21–11/23, 2025

Pin creation challenge

Step 1: Create 20 Pins unique to Pinterest around an educational topic of your choice. Among the 20 educational Pins, there must be at least:



  • 10 Pinterest-original Pins useful to educators in a classroom setting. (For example, infographics, checklists, worksheets.)

  • 10 non-unique Pins on an educational topic (e.g., inspiration, utility, shopping-focused). These may be auto-imported


Step 2: Add the hashtag #EducatorChallenge1 in the title or description of your Pin to enter
. This is important to ensure your Pin is reviewed.

Step 3: Publish your Pin to submit it in the challenge.

Thought-starters

  • An easy to use attendance tracker

  • A self-help sheet of irregular verbs for a grammar class

  • An infographic showing how photosynthesis works


Creative best practices

  • Context: Optimize your content for the Pinterest audience and mobile users (think vertical).

  • Content: Be authentic with content that feels genuine rather than overly produced and start off with a catchy visual or hook to draw viewers in right away.

  • Craft: Clarity and creativity work hand-in-hand. Make sure you have a clear main subject and easy-to-read, thoughtfully placed text.

  • Color: Be bright and bold, but keep it balanced.

#EducatorChallenge2 | 10/28–11/23, 2025

Optimizing content challenge

Step 1: Create 10 educational Pins unique and or auto/import that are aligned with a trend of your choice using the Pinterest Trends dashboard. Among the 10 Pins submitted, there must be at least



  • 5 collage Pins on top-searched education trends in your focus area, using the Pinterest Trends tool

  • 5 unique Pins focused on education using the Pinterest Trend tool. (Be creative!)


Step 2: Add the hashtag #EducatorChallenge2
in the title or description of your Pin to enter. (This is important to ensure your Pin is reviewed.)

Step 3: Publish your Pin to submit it in the challenge.

#EducatorChallenge3 | 11/04 –11/23, 2025

Board + collaboration challenge

Step 1: Create 3 boards around an educational topic of your choice. The boards must:



  • Contain a mix of uploaded Pins and curated Pins (minimum of 10 Pins per board). Boards should have a mix of all Pin formats and be inspirational, useful and shoppable.

  • Reflect Pinterest board curation best practices. 


Step 2: Add the hashtag #EducatorChallenge3
in the title or description of each board to enter. (This is important to ensure your board is reviewed.)

Step 3: Submit your board using this form.

Note: The first 10 boards submitted will be able to have a life profile review during Week 4’s panel.

  • Use clear, informative text in your board name and description.

  • Set the visual scene for a board’s theme with an appropriate board cover image and board header image.

  • Keep a clear and focused theme in mind. The more niche and specific, the better.

  • Organize your boards so discovery is easy, and add sections to boards with many Pins to provide clear structure.

  • Include visually cohesive and relevant images that clearly convey a specific vibe, aesthetic or theme.

  • Keep your board content fresh and up-to-date by regularly adding relevant Pins to your board.

#EducatorChallenge4 | 11/11–11/23, 2025

Final content challenge

Step 1: Create a board that ladders into one of these topics: classroom decor, core school subjects, general classroom. The board must:



  • Contain 20 Pins covering a mix of content. Five of the Pins must be unique, the rest can be from auto-ingestion.

  • Be shared via the board-sharing feature to another platform. (For example, Instagram or TikTok.)


Step 2: Add the hashtag #EducatorChallenge4
in the title or description of each board to enter. (This is important to ensure your board is reviewed.)

Step 3: Submit your board using this form.

For a board about “Mixtures vs. solutions for science class,” some sample Pins:



  • Resources

    • Lesson plan linking to PDF

    • Student worksheets linking to PDF

    • Student activities to hands-on understand what is a solution vs. a mixture. (This could also be an infographic or a collage.)

Follow submission criteria

Each challenge has its own hashtag and some have links that must be submitted in a Google Form. In order to ensure your entry is counted towards a challenge, please be sure to use the corresponding hashtag and/or submit the link requested in the form.

  • There is no limit on Pin and board submissions, so submit away to maximize your chances.

  • Pins and boards submitted must be created and posted between October 21 and November 23, 2025.
