Building a business online opens up a world of possibilities, but it comes with its fair share of challenges too. Chiara Celani (@chiracelanipin) a marketing strategist who helps creative businesses and freelancers grow their brands on Pinterest knows this first hand. Having helped others increase audiences, brand awareness and conversions using Pinterest, Chiara already knew what a powerful tool the platform could be. And she was looking for a tool that could help her manage her clients’ and her own content in one place. So she turned to Pinterest and social media management tool Metricool to optimize her posting process.
Chiara needed a tool that would let her streamline her content creation to expand her and her clients’ audiences and engagement on Pinterest. Metricool, a Pinterest-approved partner platform, offered features that would allow her to batch-upload content, repurpose it efficiently and keep track of what was scheduled and where.
Chiara was used to bulk uploading her own content and Pins for clients using a CSV file. Adding Metricool to her strategy allowed Chiara to continue this practice, uploading dozens of Pins at once, while also managing her other personal channels in parallel. She was also able to see which content was performing across all of her platforms at once. Instead of hopping between platforms to check the different reporting pages, she could see all of her data at a glance, making it easy to optimize in real time and cross-post content that was doing well to her other platforms, including Pinterest.
This combined analytics report also proved useful in managing her client accounts. Chiara was able to review data from multiple clients without logging in or out of multiple platforms. This made it simpler to oversee a high volume of content. Plus, she got a holistic overview of her Pinterest content across accounts to quickly spot patterns and keep track of which tactics were working and driving results.
Combining Pinterest with a third-party partner helped Chiara grow her output and audience. In the three months after fully integrating Metricool into her Pinterest strategy, Chiara saw a clear increase in on-platform traffic—with 144% more impressions and 376% more saves—and traffic to her site, with a 165% increase in outbound clicks. It’s also helped her more efficiently schedule client content. "Pinterest is where visibility meets conversion, and Metricool gives me the power to scale my strategy without scaling my workload," she said.
