The goal

Angie noticed that many of her Instagram followers found her profile through Pinterest and saw an opportunity to use Pinterest to reach and engage new and larger audiences. This helped Angie showcase her handpicked, thematic content and foster engagement and traffic back to her Pinterest profile. She plans to use board sharing on an ongoing basis, to share her popular "What I eat in a week" series and more.

The result

The board preview Angie shared reached over 8.6k people via her Instagram story. This helped drive more people to her Pinterest, driving over 460 link clicks back to her profile.

After connecting her Instagram account to Pinterest and claiming her content, Angie saw explosive growth. In just one week, her posting volume increased 800%, bringing in over 85,000% more monthly viewers and 573,000% more impressions. These new views helped foster a nearly 820,000% increase in engagements and a 368,000% increase in saves.

And the growth didn’t stop there. In the first month after connecting her Instagram account, Angie uploaded 9,500% more content than the previous month. This reinvigorated posting strategy led to a 397,251% increase in monthly viewers and 378,449% more impressions. Her engagement continued growing, increasing by 247,268% between August and September 2024. And that engagement turned to action with 1,057,900% more saves and a 22,100% increase in outbound clicks.
