This privacy notice accompanies Pinterest’s Creator Program Agreement, and provides information on how Pinterest collects and processes your personal information contained in the Creator Content that you share with Pinterest. It’s important that you read this privacy notice together with our privacy policy, which contains more detailed information about our data processing on Pinterest.
When you share your Creator Content with Pinterest, you voluntarily share certain personal information, including your name, email address, phone number, photos, and performance metrics, as well as any personal information contained in your Idea Pins and related promotional content.
We use the personal information we collect from you in a number of ways:
We process your contact details, such as your name, email address and phone number, in order to manage our relationship with you.
We review your Creator Content and promote it on and off Pinterest through a variety of channels.
We review your Creator Content as it appears on other media and analyse metrics you provide us about its performance.
We may record your participation in virtual events.
We may use quotes of statements you make at public appearances related to the Creator Content.
We may take photos of you to provide to the media in order to promote your Creator Content.
We need to process your personal information in these ways in order to perform the Creator Program Agreement, and we won't be able to perform our obligations without it.
We may also use your Creator Content or related materials (including any personal information they contain), during or after the term of the Creator Program Agreement, for internal purposes (such as research or reference), or externally (such as in publicity or on social media). We will always use your Creator Content in accordance with the terms of the licence you grant us in the Creator Program Agreement. We have a legitimate interest in processing your personal information in these ways in order to improve Pinterest.
We use and publish your Creator Content on Pinterest. Anyone can see your Creator Content and any profile information that you give us. To learn more about how and when we share your personal information on Pinterest, please visit our privacy policy.
In addition, we may share your Creator Content (and any personal information it contains) on our social media channels or with the media outlets as agreed in the Creator Program Agreement.
Pinterest is a worldwide service. We may transfer and store your personal information outside your home country, including in the United States, for the purposes described in this privacy notice and in our privacy policy. The privacy protections and the rights of authorities to access your personal information in such countries may not be equivalent to those of your home country. Where we transfer personal information from the EEA or the UK to a country that doesn't provide an adequate level of protection, we’ll only do so under appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information, like standard contractual clauses (a copy of which is available on request by contacting us in one of the ways described below).

When we no longer need to use your personal information and there is no need for us to keep it to comply with our legal or regulatory obligations, we’ll either remove it from our systems or depersonalize it so that we can't identify you.
